This chubby, psychedelic rendition of our logo graced some of our favorite covers for a few fleeting months from 1970-1971. Those issues are almost impossible to find, so we commemorated this deep cut logo here.

CREEM kicked off a new decade with a trippy logo belying the radical politics and punk aggression of its pages. Under this masthead, the mag grappled with a crumbling ‘60s counterculture, while championing bands like The Stooges, Frank Zappa, and Parliament-Funkadelic, setting the stage for the definitive era of CREEM—and rock ‘n’ roll.

We love a stiff, scratchy concert tee as much as the next guy, but these aren’t it. The Archive Collection features re-editions of CREEM classics printed on soft, silk-washed cotton, so it looks new, but feels like it’s already been washed a hundred times.
