Stars Cars
JAKE KISZKA
And his Triumph Bonneville T120 Black

You’re probably familiar with stadium-slaying purveyors of Avalonian mountain hop Greta Van Fleet. Here at CREEM, we love a wellsqueezed lemon. Sue us.
Greta’s guitar wunderkind Jake Kiszka also co-fronts the band Mirador, who are more like a ballad-inclined Sir Lord Baltimore or the prog hard rock of King’s X than the golden deities referenced in every piece of Greta press. Historically partial to stadium openers as CREEM is, we enjoy it even when we can’t get our hands on some parking-lot nitrous.
So in today’s world where we’re lucky to find a rock star with a driver’s license, let alone an automobile, for this issue we flipped the Stars Cars script with Evel Kisznievel, ever the outlaw traditionalist, who rides a sweet-ass motorbike. A Triumph Bonneville T120 Black, to be exact, the same bike that helped Steve McQueen win the war, helped Elvis do Elvis stuff, and was entirely innocent in regards to Dylan’s crash (that was the fault of speed, speed, a simple twist of fate, and “the ’60s"—and anyway was a T100). Ride on, Jake.
