They got ’em. Right now Slade are the biggest thing in England. They’ve had over five Top Ten singles in the past year, all their concerts are sellouts, and no end in sight. Their fans are mostly young, in school or working in shops and factories all over England for miserable wages which they spend almost entirely on clothes and music. On weekends, these kids like to — need to — get loose.
