Members Richard Page and Steve George have been involved in the music business for over 10 years. They grew up together in foenix, Arizona, and moved to Los glgeles in 1975, becoming (gwriters and back-up singers for sts such as Rick Springfield, |inna Summer, Quincy Jones and I Jarreau. The two met Steve arris and Pat Mastelotto at a ihearsal studio three years ago, and Mr. Mister—and their patented mite R&B sound—emerged. In 1982, the band showcased in Los tageles, and RCA Records signed shortly after.
