Metallica Memoriam As we go to press, we’re saddened to hear of the death of Cliff Burton, 24-year-old bassist for Metallica, in a freak accident in Europe. According to a spokesman for Elektra Records, Burton was killed as the hand was en route from Stockholm to Copenhagen, when their tour bus began to hydroplane, skidding off the road.

According to a spokesman for Elektra Records, Burton was killed as the hand was en route from Stockholm to Copenhagen, when their tour bus began to hydroplane, skidding off the road. Burton, who was the condolences to Burton’s iamtty and friends.
Irresponsible? That’s what some are terming Corey Hart’s decision to title his latest album Fields Of Fire. As is widely known, fires in pastures and fields can panic (and even kill\) our friends, the cows, who, despite their many talents, are not expert firefighters. No word on a possible EMI-America total recall of this ill-titled venture.
