SMELL THE MAGIC
Listen up! The Tinfoil Biter makes deliciously aromatic photos to make your mouth water

When was the last time you smelled a really great movie? Or heard a particularly tasty slice of pizza? Never? For The Tinfoil Biter, it’s more often than you’d think. “To me, it’s not just about photography. I’m trying to make people feel what I shot."
Still confused? It took a deep dive into the works of The Tinfoil Biter (her preferred nom de guerre) to truly get it, a mix of visual art and collage more than just some posed shots of a dude gripping an instrument. The layering, the manipulation, the colors, and most of all the creativity are the hallmarks of her work, “photos" that are some of the most beautiful and creative in this modern medium. But the artistry in her photography originated from frustration in her inability to work in another art form, illustration. “I think everything started to shift when I got into college,” recalls TfB. “I just didn’t have much free time to do what I used to love, which was drawing. I used to take a camera with me, a manual camera that my grandfather gave me in my teens, so I would take photos and that would be another medium where I could express myself.”
