We all have one—that friend of ours who seemingly everyone on the planet knows and likes. In this case, it’s musician Bruce Lamont, saxophonist and member of several metal bands including Yakuza, Brain Tentacles, and Corrections House, not to mention “Robert Plant" in the much-loved Zep cover band Led Zeppelin 2 (yes, we’re serious, and you need to see ’em). Lamont is a Chicago staple a la deep-dish pizza and glizzys with all the toppings, and is usually the subject of the second or third question whenever the Chi comes up: “Do you know Bruce?"
