BONSAI BOOGERS IN DOLBY ATMOS

Tommy Lee looking all Zorro with that 'stacheand-beard combo.
I wish I could start this whole thing off by telling you Tommy Lee and I go way back and have been hanging on the reg, usually on motorcycles while smoking, since Motley Crüe’s earliest days on the Sunset Strip. But I was in grade school then, and my parents would have been super pissed. In fact, it would be decades before we’d actually meet.
I first became aware of Tommy and Motley Crüe back in 1984 when the band’s “Looks That Kill” came on the radio one day while my mom and I were out cruising the mean streets of suburban Cleveland in the family station wagon.
“‘She’s got the looks that kill’?" my mom said. “What’s that supposed to mean?"
Moms. Am I right?
Anyway, Motley Crüe’s sound was darker, nastier, and far more sinister than all the hair metal bands that were regularly played on local radio at the time, and I became an instant fan.
