C.F. Turner

January 1, 1976

Remember phone booth stuftlng? Well, it's back! And here we have C.F. Turner, the Canadian Natlonal Champion (One-Man Division), sharpening his chops in preparation for the upcoming international finals in the sport by driving one of the world's smallest cars, the Austin Mini-Cooper. The champ dismisses the persistent talk on the part of the number two contender for the world title, Leslie West of New York, that he is "finished" as a phone booth stuffer and that he might as well go into "something grubby, like rock 'n' roll." Quoth Turner on Lesie's fightin' words: "That's hogwashi"
